okay,
college hasnt been as exciting as I expected.
I gotta admit, I did feel a little out of place at first
but now things are getting better.
However some of the professors do suck.
and people in my grade and major doesnt like to party. and does not party. no alcohol.
I mean, I don't have a problem with that, but it's just I do want to dance and get wasted once in a while :) just to have some fun.
And that's where I get mistaken again, they think I need to drink to have fun but I don't?!
There's just a lot of misunderstanding?
grrr

But whatever, everything is going to get better. I'm sure of that!

My first fridaaaaay night of college was however frikkin amazing.

Was at Flo-Rida's birthday bash with Brianna, GIT Fresh, DJ Entice and DJ Kronik
Ohmagawd
they were the craziestttt crew everrrrr
and they certainly knew how to entertain. ;)
litting the bar on fire was just the least of all the crazy shit they did
Me and my friends were somehow in first row haha and they were SO CLOSE.
LOTS OF INTERACTIONNNNNN WOOOOOT
I was so stress-relieved after the show, got home at 4 and just snuggled to bed, smelling like champagne and all these liquer and my sweat and someone else's sweat(ew)

I felt really good

however I don't have alot of photos,
since they were constantly just pouring champagne all over the place...
See you gotta go and just party your ass off once in a while to balance everything out!

Why can't they just see clubbing as something normal and relaxing?

Hopefully the barbeque on tuesday night will be cool though :)

A Taste of Mediterranean

So Here it goes,
my spain trip 2010.

First of all let me... HOLLLLLLLLLLY CRAP THOSE DUTCH IMMIGRATION OFFICERS ARE HOT.
yea, I just HAD TO spit it out. they are amazingly good looking, so may I remind you my ladies, when you enter europe, take a way through schiphol airport in amsterdam!
and the easiest way to do that is take KLM ;)
Omg, free advertisement right there for KLM.

So as I arrived in Barcelona you have no idea how good I felt.
The weather was a whole lot better than the humid Taipei, and everything was just one word, chill. And I missed outdoor cafes! they really dont have a whole lota that in Taipei, it's just way too hot I guess?
Well except when I got to the city center and man, plaza catalunya was packed with tourists! uhm good looking european tourists? enuf said.
I had to admit though that it was a little bit frustrating at first because I couldn't find another asian on the street except for of course, my sister and my dad.


The next few days were just apartment hunting/dealing with banks/running around like a...tourist.
I'll write a new post for some of the tourist spots I went to, with photos! yay
I didn't exactly get to see as much as I planned to, but that's enough for me.


Right now I just want to say,
Barcelona is an amazing place, and I really can assume that everywhere else in Spain is as beautiful as it is.
The food and drinks are awesome..
Actually, if we focused on drinks here, these two "beverages" are the ones that kept me alive, um replacing water...*this is very bad, please dont do something like that in the middle of summer.

This is something called "Horchata" which tastes like almond/milk/cinnamon, I gotta say it sounds weird but I loved it!


and here's something you all know I love! Every meal, its just complimentary. jk!

back to the point, the people are passionate and friendly as they say in books,
architecture is full of creativity and originality,
the weather is pretty much suitable for anything,
and HOW COULD I FORGET ABOUT THE SHOPPING?! european shopping ftfw. I HAVE TO GO BACK. I still didn't get those H&M boots :'( which I would very much like to cry about right now.



I am definitely going back, to that beautiful city Barcelona. Sometime in the future when I'm earning more dough. haha


NEXT DESTINATION (hopefully) is COSTA DEL SOL, ANDALUCIA.

August is always my favorite month of the year,
despite all the heat back home in taipei, I still love it like no other.
Partially because it's my birthday month,
but mostly it's just the passion and energy surrounding me.

My 18th celebration week was wonderful,
thanks to my dear family and friends
To my family, thanks for putting up with me, I know I'm a total pain in the ass.
To my friends, thanks for being honest,hilarious and of course adorable.


And now I'm busy packing for spain, which we're leaving for..TOMORROW?!
oh god
still got a lot to pack FOR MY SISTER! big lazyass she is.
Anyways,
I'll post up photos of the beautiful country during the trip if I find time :)

SPAIN!

9 days in Spain! :)

We'll be spending most of our time in Barcelona, and some smaller cities near by, But will also be dropping by Madrid for two days!
hmm cant forget, still gotta help my sister settle down as well. Apartment hunting is such a fuss, MEH.

Summer so far

So I really haven't been doing much this summer, YET.
well first of all driving classes were full, so I cant drive,
next of all I found out I'm a totally spoilt kid so I don't have a job,
then..
okay I'm going to quit the complaining.
Basically all I've been doing is watching movies, reading, and SPA(favorite of the list)
and before the world cup ended, DRUNK SCREAMING AND YELLING AT A SPORTS BAR.
okay and finally thanks to my mama, I got my first guitar! promise it wont end up like my flute, shush.

Well I guess I had to put up some pictures since that seems to be the trend..
(Damn and just then I quoted Bon Jovi's "free yourself from comparison" to a friend)
So here are some from the first family road trip planned by me and my sister to a nearby city YiLan. (ps, props to the sister who drove us around the whole damn trip)



The place that we're sitting is just total awesomeness, it's right above the cliff and the breeze is just amazing sitting there. Such a nice place to drink. :)


So this nature walk, fuckin amazing. We went at mid day and it was still such a pleasant walk. All these waterfalls man. The only thing I was confused about was the stairs. why the heck were there so MANY steps? totally the reason why my back pain got worse when I came home.


And now finally dedicated to my lovely friend Naomi who misses my face oh so much :)<3

Starting this week, things are gonna get BUSY!

A New Beginning

Well,
I guess I'll start with a brief introduction of myself! :)
Hi! I'm Grace, currently a senior..
Being in international schools for half of my life has definitely changed my perspective on life.
In a good way! hahaha

I'm not gonna get lengthy here,
the reason I set up this blog was because I wanted a new beginning.
I've been using my old blog for years, and since I'm moving on from highschool to college..in just 4 DAYS,
I guess this would be a good timing to start a new blog!
