What are you and me but monkeys in a tree?

Title quote came from my friend Shrea.

I never asked what it meant for her, but it was just always on her msn status :)

It just really hit me today.
Homo Sapiens,
yes, we have bigger brains than monkeys,
we've culturally evolved,
we walk on two legs,
... and we've developed all these technology to distinguish us from our 'ancestors' living in the jungle

But what's the difference,
when we hurt someone with words, and monkeys use their teeth and claws;

when we persue wealth with greed and determination, monkeys compete to death for food and space

What makes humans think they're superior to all the species alive?

Deep down inside us,
I guess we're just monkeys after all... lost in the city, the cement walls, the chaos.

A New Beginning

Well,
I guess I'll start with a brief introduction of myself! :)
Hi! I'm Grace, currently a senior..
Being in international schools for half of my life has definitely changed my perspective on life.
In a good way! hahaha

I'm not gonna get lengthy here,
the reason I set up this blog was because I wanted a new beginning.
I've been using my old blog for years, and since I'm moving on from highschool to college..in just 4 DAYS,
I guess this would be a good timing to start a new blog!
